Are Delishh sausages vegan?
Yes. Every Delishh product is 100% plant-based: a seitan (wheat gluten) and soya protein blend, seasoned with spices and smoked over alder wood chips. No meat, dairy or eggs, so they are suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
Are they gluten-free?
No. Seitan is made from wheat gluten, so Delishh sausages are not suitable for a gluten-free diet. They also contain soya, and they are made in a factory which handles mustard and celery. The full ingredient list and allergen advice is on every product page and on the pack.
Are they high in protein?
Yes. Protein is the main ingredient. Holy Smokes! sausages, for example, contain 27 g of protein per 100 g. Nutrition tables for each product are on the product pages.
Do I need to cook them?
Smoked Salami and Bologna Style Sausage are ready to eat: slice them for sandwiches, boards and salads. Hot Doggos, Smoky & Spiced and Holy Smokes! are made to be cooked: pan-fry from chilled on a medium heat for 4–5 minutes, grill for 5–7 minutes, or oven-bake at 190 °C (fan 170 °C) for 7–10 minutes, turning occasionally. Remove the film casing before cooking.
How long do they keep?
Keep refrigerated below 4 °C. Use by the date on the pack and within 4 days of opening. Home freezing is not recommended.
Do you deliver, and how much does it cost?
We deliver to UK addresses with DPD, usually within 2–5 working days. Delivery is £3.49 per order, and the minimum online order is 4 packs. Orders are placed on this website; the basket also accepts Apple Pay and Google Pay.
